Charter of the Renewed United Nations
Preamble
WE, the free people of the new German State, the Kingdom of Germany, and peoples of all contracting parties – FIRMLY DETERMINED to save succeeding generations from the systems which still bind mankind to the scourge of war and drives it to perform unspeakable acts leading to injustices and tensions among people and nations;
we, reaffirming our faith in the human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of all nations large and small, wish to establish conditions under which true justice and respect for the obligations arising from just treaties concluded without coercion and from other sources of international law which actually respect human rights and lead to peaceful progress can be maintained, pledge to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom
AND FOR THESE ENDS
to employ our best efforts for peace, justice, a renewal of the systems serving people and the spread of values and ethics, to practise tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbours, and to unite our strength to maintain international peace and security, to serve all people and the creator, to ensure, by the acceptance of principles and institution of methods that armed force shall not be used save in exceptional cases in the common interest for purposes of self-defence and to employ international machinery for the promotion of the ethical, economic and social advancement of all peoples –
HAVE RESOLVED TO COMBINE OUR EFFORTS TO ACCOMPLISH THESE AIMS:
accordingly, our governments, through agents who have exhibited their full powers and found to be in good and due form, have agreed to the present Charter of the Renewed United Nations and do hereby establish a supranational international organisation to be known as the “Renewed United Nations”.
